International event organiser dmg events has appointed Agop Niksarlioglu as chief technology officer, as the company continues to invest in digital innovation across its growing events portfolio.
With digital adoption already embedded across the business, Niksarlioglu will lead the company’s technology, data and digitisation agenda. He brings more than 20 years of international experience, including over a decade across exhibitions, conferences, business media and digital event communities. Prior to joining dmg events, he held senior technology roles at Hyve Group, formerly ITE Group, Searchlight Consulting and London Metropolitan University.
His experience spans enterprise architecture, CRM, data, AI and cloud technologies, as well as large-scale technology programmes, acquisitions, carve-outs and integrations across multiple international markets.
