CHS (Conference & Hospitality Show) will merge its Birmingham and Leeds events into a single super-show in Manchester next year.
The new event, CHS Manchester, will take place at the AO Arena on 30 September 2026. The move marks the next phase of growth for the organiser after five years in Birmingham and over 15 in Leeds.
The show is being developed in partnership with Marketing Manchester and AO Arena. The collaboration aims to build on the city’s growing reputation as a leading destination for major events and conferences.
CHS founder and chief executive Emma Cartmell said: “This is amazing news for us, our exhibitors, and our visitor community as we bid sad farewells to our friends in Birmingham and Leeds and look to create a ‘supershow’ in Manchester. The move is part of an ambitious growth strategy we have for our events, and Manchester is a city that has the vision to help us reach new and exciting levels.”
Introducing a “festival feel”
The organiser said the Manchester edition will retain the brand’s personal and welcoming feel while expanding its exhibitor line-up and introducing a festival-style atmosphere around the event.

Amy King, head of exhibitions and live events at Legends Global, which operates AO Arena, added: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as the launch venue for the new Manchester Supershow. The recent £50m venue refurbishment means that we can now accommodate exhibitions, conferences and awards dinners by utilising the accessible event floor concourse and premium event spaces.
“We are more than just a music venue.”
CHS Manchester will include a new theme and education programme focusing on key issues facing event planners in 2026.
