The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has published the 2025 edition of the eGuide, an essential resource for UK venue, organiser, exhibitor and supplier companies.

Updated annually, the 2025 eGuide edition features 13 reviewed sections and introduces a new section ‘Dangerous Exhibits’.

A further release is planned for December 2025 to include sections addressing ‘safeguarding and child protection’ and ‘medical provision’.

Alden Arnold, head of commercial and projects, AEV, commented: “An enormous amount of work goes into the maintenance of the eGuide so that members across all aspects of the event industry can create a safe space for colleagues and visitors.”

This year, alongside the AEV eGuide working group, the association together with sister bodies the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) formed a cross-association ‘eGuide User’ group to establish and share common ground on applying regulations across UK venues.

Arnold added: “It is incredible working with so many committed and skilled individuals and organisations and being part of the collaboration that pulls together this vital industry resource. Thank you to all involved for their continual input.”

The 2025 eGuide is now available via the AEV website, offering a version with highlighted changes and the option to download five sections independently for added convenience.
