VUKA Group has now consolidated 15 separate websites into a single online hub – wearevuka.com.

The South African media and events agency’s new platform has led to a 15% sales increase, an 891% jump in website traffic, and more than 1m page views.

Previously, according to VUKA Group, one of the biggest challenges it faced was visibility.

“Our clients only knew us for part of what we do – they had no idea how many doors we could open for them,” David Ashdown, CEO of VUKA Group explained.

Clients now have direct access to industry news, events and key business introductions in one place, removing the reliance on individual staff to guide them.

Previously, many clients only knew VUKA Group for specific events or services. “Some lifelong clients had no idea what was possible until now,” said commercial director Errol Bryce.

Year-round engagement model

VUKA’s new Influence Model integrates media exposure, in-person events and curated industry introductions, ensuring businesses stay connected beyond one-off conferences.

“This isn’t just a redesign – it’s a shift in how industries connect,” said Josh Strawczynski, managing director of JMarketing, which led the transformation.

Next step: AI

The next phase will introduce AI-powered personalisation to help businesses discover relevant opportunities faster and build smarter connections.

“We are committed to continuous innovation,” said CEO David Ashdown. “AI will enhance personalisation, efficiency, and ensure our platform remains the go-to hub for industry engagement.”
