Terrapinn is back on the acquisition trail, according to the organiser’s group CEO, Greg Hitchen.
The company, which counts renewables shows in Africa, education technology events in Australia, payments and e-commerce shows in Asia, and aviation events in Europe as part of its portfolio, did its last deal in June 2024 when it bought ARABLAB LIVE, the Middle East-based exhibition for laboratory users in the chemical, energy, medical, biotech, food and environment industries.
In March 2024, Terrapinn acquired NoVacancy Expo, an Australian trade show for the A$22bn hotel and accommodation market.
Hitchen (pictured) is now looking to acquire further ‘events of scale – anywhere in the world’.
He said: “We have a strong record of success, working with entrepreneurs and associations to create value for all. The sectors we are interested in are transport, enterprise tech, finance, e-commerce, life sciences, energy and telecoms. We are deal agnostic and can do earn-outs or outright purchases. If you’re looking to accelerate growth or exit, please get in touch.”
