From 28-30 November, DreamHack Stockholm 2025 – Sweden’s largest gaming festival ever – will take over Stockholmsmässan venue in Älvsjö, Sweden. The 2025 event marks a significant expansion compared with last year’s inaugural edition.

With more activities, major international esports finals, live shows and the Nordic region’s largest gaming expo, the organisers also aim to surpass last year’s attendance of 52,000 visitors from 59 countries.

“This will be our largest investment in Europe to date. We are taking over the entire venue and presenting more experiences than ever before,“ said Shahin Zarrabi, VP Festivals at organiser ESL FACEIT Group.

This year’s festival features several world finals and international premieres, including the Overwatch Champions Series World Finals and THE FINALS Major – the first world championship for the Swedish-developed title – bringing together 16 teams competing for the $100,000 prize and title.

The Brawl Stars World Finals also returns to Sweden with 16 teams battling for a $1 million prize pool and the ESL Impact Season 8 Global Finals will bring the world’s best women’s Counter-Strike 2 teams to Stockholm. While DreamHack Knockout, a new major Counter-Strike 2 initiative in the LAN area, allows all festival visitors to qualify. Winners receive $10,000 and a direct slot in the ESL Pro League

The event will also see more than 250 international content creators with a combined reach of 35 million followers gather in DreamHack’s new Creator Hub, presented by XBOX. Visitors can follow livestreams, take part in one-on-one challenges, play together with creators and ask questions on the Meet & Greet Stage.
DreamHack is hosting two major competitions:

  • DreamHack Cosplay Championship, featuring four competitive levels and international judges
  • Extreme Cosplay Gathering Qualifier, where top competitors can secure a chance to reach Europe’s largest cosplay stage at Japan Expo in Paris
