One Day at Christmas, the community event organised by the UK exhibitions industry is taking place across seven venues today (Friday, 6 December).
The event, which stages a Christmas lunch and entertainment for the elderly and lonely, is catering for over 2,500 people at ExCeL London, the NEC Birmingham, Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, the Business Design Centre (pictured), CBS Arena, Manchester Central and the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).
Last year, One Day at Christmas helped raise £80,000 and provided a magical day for 1,250 vulnerable people. This year’s campaign is looking to raise £90,000, which would bring the total raised by the annual campaign to just under £200,000 since its inception in 2017.
