RX has partnered with two charities – Multicultural Richmond in the UK, and Northeast Black Law Students Association in the US – in a move to push forward its DEI initiative.
The two charitable organisations were selected through RX’s Global Race & Ethnicity Committee (GREC). They join the organiser’s five-year $1 million commitment to supporting organisations that advance inclusion and diversity around the world.
Ray Rhodes, head of diversity & inclusion at RX, said: “We’re proud to welcome Multicultural Richmond and NEBLSA to our global charitable giving programme.
“They … give our colleagues opportunities to volunteer, mentor and learn from the communities our partners serve. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together over the years ahead.”
Ravi Arora, director of Multicultural Richmond, added: “We are excited to partner with RX to raise awareness of, and celebrate, the different cultures represented in the Richmond community, and to create a more equitable society.”
Chair of NEBSLA Kimberly Guerrero said: “I believe this collaboration can serve as a strong model for how industry leaders and student organisations can work together”.
Other charitable organisations that RX partners with include Australia’s GO Foundation, France’s Rêv’Elles, Brazil’s Adus Institute and Iniciativa Empresarial pela Igualdade Racial, Germany’s Multikulturelles Forum and South Africa’s 18twenty8 and Oliver’s House.
