Nineteen Group is moving the Retail Technology Show (RTS) to ExCeL London next year.
RTS 2025 will take place from 2-3 April at the docklands venue after three years at Olympia.
According to the organiser, the move will enable the show to grow and offer ‘more opportunities for prime exhibition locations, greater space for the market-leading conference programme, and improved options for networking and customer experiences’.
The decision to move the two-day exhibition and conference was taken after RTS 2024 attracted more than 12,500 retail professionals to Olympia last month, which equated to a 28% rise in visitors. The show reportedly achieved a 100% rebook by the close of day two.
Event director Matt Bradley, said: “Our decision to move the Retail Technology Show to ExCeL London is driven by the extraordinary growth and demand we’ve experienced, and the state-of-the-art facilities available at this venue to enhance the overall event experience.
“The team are still buzzing from an incredible last event at London Olympia. But it is the right time to leap, giving us the right time and space to develop the show and take #RTS2025 to the next level.”
Nick Coffey, head of business development at ExCeL London, commented: “We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the new host venue for Retail Technology Show in 2025 and beyond. The team at Nineteen have done an incredible job to grow the event into one of the leading and most recognised in the retail sector, and we’re delighted to be supporting them on this journey.”
