UK Construction Week (UKCW) London will return in May 2027 as a single curated “super event” bringing together nine shows under one roof, organiser Media 10 has announced.
Running 11-13 May 2027 at Excel London under the theme “One Industry. One Event. Now Supercharged,” the event is expected to draw more than 20,000 construction professionals, 600 exhibiting brands, over 650 speakers and 90-plus partners. The nine shows are Futurebuild, Stone & Surfaces Show, National Retrofit Conference & Expo, Building Safety, Digitalisation + AI, Business of Construction, MMC+, Onsite On Hire and Urban Environment.
It builds on consolidation already under way. Media 10, which already owned UKCW, acquired Futurebuild from Easyfairs in January 2026 and co-located it with UKCW London for the first time that May, alongside the newly acquired Stone & Surfaces Show. That combined event drew over 25,000 visitors and more than 700 talks across 10 stages; 2027 now folds in five further strands, most newly created rather than acquired.
Martin Hurn, UKCW London editorial director, said the show was “about bringing the full breadth of the construction industry together in one superevent, while giving each specialist sector a clear identity and a stronger voice,” adding that uniting nine events under one roof creates “more opportunities for businesses to connect, share expertise and discover the ideas, technologies and solutions that will shape the future of the built environment.”
Morgan Stephen Milne, associate at Carbon Futures, reflecting on this year’s event, said: “With UK Construction Week and Futurebuild now joining forces, it’s shaping up to become one of the UK’s leading events for the built environment sector.”
