UK-based independent organiser Media 10 has launched Design at Work New York, a trade event focused on commercial interiors and workplace design.
The first edition is scheduled to take place on 10–11 March 2027 at the Javits Center in New York.
The event will bring together manufacturers, architects, interior designers, occupiers and developers involved in workplace design. It will feature exhibitors across areas including workplace furniture, acoustic solutions, pods and booths, collaborative spaces, lighting, materials and workplace technology.
Organisers said the event is intended to connect exhibitors with professionals working on commercial projects.
The launch marks Media 10’s expansion into the United States, following its organisation of Clerkenwell Design Week and Shoreditch Design Week in London. According to the company, New York has a large architecture and design sector and a significant office market, contributing to demand for workplace design services and products.
Media 10 stated it will work with industry associations, media partners and design organisations to attract attendees and participants. The event will include an exhibition space, two talks theatres and areas designed for networking.
Marlon Cera-Marle, director, design division, at Media 10 said: “New York is one of the most important and influential design markets in the world, yet there is no single event dedicated purely to workplace design at a high level. With Design at Work, we are creating a focused, design-led platform that connects brands directly with the architects, designers and occupiers shaping the future of work.”
