Mash Media launches publishing conference

by Saul Leese

Mash Media, the owner of EN is launching Making Publishing Pay – a new two-day conference for publishers.

The conference, which takes place alongside International Confex at ExCeL London on 25-26 February, is for small-medium sized publishers looking to learn and share the latest innovations from a panel of experts from across multiple publishing disciplines.

The summit focuses on changing consumption habits, the continued meteoric rise of social media, ever changing distribution channels and continually evolving technology.

Event organiser, Duncan Siegle said: “With all this change comes great opportunity to monetise new channels and audience data. The summit aims to educate publishers on how to develop their business models in a practical manner. Making Publishing Pay brings together leading professionals to share their experience and knowledge on making the most of the challenges we face and the opportunities that exist to ensure the future growth of publishing.”

Mash Media publishes a number of leading magazines including Exhibition News, and is at the forefront of exploring effective ways to grow portfolios, stay relevant and pioneer new revenue streams for the business. The company is also a successful B2B event organiser with events including International Confex, Event Production Show and the PA Show – all at ExCeL London on February 25th/26th.

The summit is for all professionals responsible for the development of publishing businesses, portfolios or products, or those looking for new ideas to bring into their business model.

From Managing Directors to Publishers and decision makers at every level, it’s practical, how-to educational programme, and will show publishers where the gaps are and how publishers can exploit them, and, more importantly, how you can exploit them.
