Grip has launched EventSkills, a free community library where event professionals can share and download ready-made AI skills for specific event tasks, at eventskills.ai.
The downloadable files work with AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Codex, covering tasks such as building post-event reports, generating matchmaking messages and tracking sponsor deliverables. Anyone can upload or download a skill, and contributors keep their name attached to what they publish, with each skill showing a download count and star rating.
Tim Groot, founder and CEO of Grip, said: “EventSkills launches into a gap the industry’s own research keeps pointing at: event professionals have embraced AI as part of their workflow but they don’t have a central hub that helps them understand what actually works. We wanted to launch a standalone product where the community can come together to share their AI skills, improve their workflows and grow their events.”
A number of the starting skills are built to work with the Grip MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets AI tools pull live data from the systems a team already uses, such as who’s registered for an event or which sponsor deliverables are still outstanding, rather than just drafting generic text.
Skills built for other platforms’ MCPs, such as a CRM or a different event platform, are equally welcome on the library.
Groot added: “Skills that work with other platforms are as welcome as the ones that work with ours. We built the foundations with EventSkills and now we’ve opened it up for the whole event organizer community to contribute.”
