Freeman has named event technology company Swapcard as its engagement platform partner for all Freeman-managed events through 2027.
The agreement will see Swapcard’s tools used across Freeman’s global portfolio of live, hybrid and virtual events, consolidating how organisers manage engagement, data and content in one system.
The collaboration follows increasing demand for connected digital solutions that help organisers streamline operations and measure audience participation across formats.
Paul Fletcher, chief operating officer, audio visual and event technology at Freeman, said: “At Freeman, our priority is giving clients the tools and support they need to create meaningful connections. By integrating Swapcard into our event ecosystem, we’re making it easier for organisers to deliver personalised, engaging experiences – whether in person, virtual, or hybrid. This partnership saves planners time, enhances networking, and provides insights that drive real impact for their audiences.”
Swapcard CEO Baptiste Boulard said: “We are excited to partner with Freeman to bring our platform to a wider audience. Our combined solution ensures organisers can focus on content and connections, while we handle the technology and production behind the scenes.”
The partnership has already been implemented at RE+, North America’s largest clean energy event, where the system supported networking, scheduling and live content access for tens of thousands of attendees.
Freeman operates one of the largest events portfolios in the world, while Swapcard provides AI-driven engagement tools used by organisers including PCMA, IAAPA, Informa and Koelnmesse.
