2025 is looking to be another strong year for Dubai. Dubai World Trade Centre is set to host some major events in the first half of the year, building on roaring success in recent years ($18.28bn from events revenue in 2023).
Flagship events in the calendar:
DUPHAT (Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition) (7-9 January) – leading pharmaceutical show in the MENA region
Intersec (14-16 January) – world’s leading safety, security and fire protection exhibition, attracting over 47,500 trade buyers and 1,100 exhibitors
Arab Health (27-30 January) – the Middle East’s biggest healthcare conference, and one of the largest in the world
World of Coffee Dubai (10-12 February) – largest coffee trade show in the Middle East, featuring a range of products that includes the rarest coffee in the world
Middle East Energy (7-9 April) – leading international trade event for the energy sector
World Art Dubai (17-20 April) – the world’s largest contemporary retail art fair, showcasing over 10,000 artworks from more than 60 countries
The World Police Summit (13-15 May) – global event hosted by Dubai Police, attracting senior international police and law enforcement officials, policymakers and other industry professionals
In total, there are over 100 events, exhibitions and conferences booked in for H1 2025, in sectors ranging from healthcare to pharma, food, security, tourism and finance.
We can expect more investment from UAE into Dubai’s events sector, and as more events are hosted and geo-cloned in the region, Dubai will continue to cement its position as a force to be reckoned with.
