Raccoon Media Group’s UK managing director Nathalie Davies and CEO Mike Seaman will climb Kilimanjaro in January to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

As part of the pair’s fundraising efforts, the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has said that whoever makes the largest donation before the end of August will get to choose the fancy dress that Seaman has to wear to lead the five-kilometre ‘fun run’ through the streets of Manchester on the morning of the AEO conference next month.

Davies and Seaman’s ‘Kili for Kids’ challenge aims to raise £10,000 for the Midlands charity.

Donations can be made via their JustGiving page, and anyone who tags their contribution with #AEOConference will have the chance to decide Seaman’s running outfit for the 7 am run on 5 September.

The ‘Kili for Kids’ challenge involves an eight-day trek up Africa’s highest mountain as part of a 30-strong group – all of whom are raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
