DEM Museums will make its UK debut this summer with the launch of TIMEWALK at Immerse LDN, the immersive entertainment district at Excel London.
The exhibition, opening in July, combines large-scale digital visuals, spatial audio and interactive environments to explore the development of early civilisations. Visitors will move through a series of themed spaces inspired by cultures including Göbeklitepe, Babylon, Ancient Egypt, the Maya and Rapa Nui.
The project marks the latest international expansion for DEM Museums, the Turkish operator behind the Hagia Sophia History Experience Museum and Ephesus Experience Museum. The company said it plans further immersive projects in the United States and Japan, alongside a Colosseum-themed experience scheduled to open in Rome in 2027.
TIMEWALK is the first DEM project to open in the UK and will become part of the growing portfolio at Immerse LDN, which has emerged as one of London’s largest immersive entertainment destinations since launching at Excel’s waterfront development.
According to Immerse LDN, the venue has hosted more than 10 immersive attractions and sold 1.7m tickets since opening.
