An inaugural exhibition dedicated to British watch and clock brands will take place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in March, organised by The Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers.
British Watchmakers’ Day on 9 March will feature more than 40 brands, such as Roger W Smith, Isotope, Accurist and Backes & Strauss.
Each exhibitor has been asked to create a range of special edition watches especially for the event. These future collectables will be extremely limited and sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Such a statement begins with the location, so we’re delighted to be able to host British Watchmakers’ Day at the Lindley Hall, which offers a unique blend of scale, heritage and prestige
The Government’s trade data cites that the export of British watches, clocks and related parts has tripled in growth from £200m to £800m over the last 13 years.
Founded in 2020 The Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers was created to give a voice to its members during the current resurgence in British watchmaking and to guide new energy in this sector.
Royal Horticultural Halls’s venue sales executive, Diane Worcester said: “This is a very exciting exhibition for watchmakers and collectors. With the venue’s natural light from the glass vaulted roof, the watches will be showcased in the best possible way.”
Production company Clownfish has been appointed to provide stands and digital screens for this historic event.
