The Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland played host to the 155th annual Balmoral Show last week.
The four-day agri-food event ran from 15-18 May. It featured 550 exhibitors and over 100 additional temporary marquees, in addition to the venue’s 10,600sqm of indoor space.
Highlights of the event, which was attended by over 100,000 visitors, included a new Sustainability Village, International Show Jumping in the Main Arena, a Six Nations Wool Handling Championship and culinary delights in the NI Food & Drink Pavilion.
Theresa Morrissey, group executive director of the Eikon Exhibition Centre said: “This year’s show has been a huge success, and we are immensely proud to continue to bring farmers, producers and consumers together. The Balmoral Show, in partnership with Ulster Bank, is a special occasion for both businesses and families alike. The event continues to provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on how the agri-food industry is evolving and adapting.”
