The Assembly Events has launched a new event, HairCon, which will host around 6,000 stylists and salon/barber shop owners at Manchester’s 10,000sqm O2 Victoria Warehouse next summer.

HairCon, which takes place from 22-24 June, will feature 30 partners who will all have a retail activation at the event. These include the Fellowship for British Hairdressers, Great Lengths, yuv, Design Essentials, Phorest and DENSE.

By day attendees will have the opportunity to connect with brands, featuring shows and presentations across three interactive stages. By night, HairCon will feature live entertainment including bands, DJs and stage takeovers from international hair crews.

Michael Dynan, event director at HairCon and founder of Assembly Events, said: “We’ve engaged in extensive conversations with industry experts, including brands, stylists, and salon owners, leading us to introduce HairCon as a revolutionary departure from traditional trade events. By closely heeding the needs of the sector, we have boldly redefined the conventions of industry gatherings. HairCon represents a groundbreaking evolution in the realm of trade shows.”

Jane Galpin, event director, HairCon, said: “Anticipate extraordinary showcases by leading brands and stylists, grand spectacles, captivating educational experiences, and unforgettable entertainment. The Style Challenge, which catapulted numerous hairdressers to fame in the past, is making a triumphant return for the next generation.”
