ASM Global’s partnership plan to create ‘most sustainable venues in the world’

ASM Global is partnering with sustainability consultants Honeycomb Strategies, in a multi-year action plan to create ‘the most sustainable venues in the world’.

The world’s largest venue portfolio said the move demonstrates their continuing recognition that sustainability has become a critical contributor to venue management and operations in the live-event industry. ASM Global facility owners and operators world-wide will be able to leverage Honeycomb Strategies’ extensive experience and comprehensive understanding of events-related sustainability best practices to make fully informed strategic decisions on major sustainability investments.

The world’s largest venue portfolio, ASM Global manages more than 300 exhibition centres, stadiums and arenas across the globe including AO Arena Manchester, P&J Live, First Direct Arena Leeds Gateshead Quays in the UK. They were appointed to manage Olympia London (pictured) in March.

Honeycomb Strategies is a women-owned, B-Corp-certified sustainability consulting firm specialising in the hospitality, sports and event industries.

The partnership will bolster ASM Global’s and Honeycomb Strategies’ combined commitment to offer innovative approaches and sustainable solutions for ASM Global’s vast portfolio including many of the world’s most iconic venues in the live entertainment, trade show event, hospitality stadium and sports spaces.
