The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has appointed Liz Proctor as data and membership executive.
Proctor, a former administrative assistant at the University of Hertfordshire, will support Sarah Scott, the director of events and operations, with new membership applications, processing of sponsorship and partnership agreements, event data, audience analysis and member engagement.
Scott said: “We are delighted to welcome Liz to the team – accurate member data is key to the successful targeting and delivery of AEO events, working groups, research, member-driven campaigns and communications, particularly as AEO membership and member benefits continue to grow.
Organised, experienced building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, Liz will also monitor and help drive member engagement across AEO’s events, products, and services, ensuring they give value and support members’ requirements.”
Proctor said: “I am delighted to be joining the AEO team, who have already been so welcoming to me. I have been blown away with the organisation, professionalism, and hardworking ethos of the team that I have experienced in such a short amount of time. I foresee promising opportunities in my future at AEO.”
