MatchPoint has won the 2025 ESCA Innovation Award at the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association Winter Celebration in Houston.

The AI-powered event networking platform was recognised for turning networking activity into measurable, real-time data. The platform uses AI to make attendee connections while capturing and visualising interactions, giving organisers and sponsors insights that were previously unavailable.

The ESCA Innovation Award is presented annually to honour contributions that improve the event and exhibition industry. Winners are selected based on measurable impact, originality and scalability.

Scott Lebwohl, co-founder of MatchPoint and outgoing ESCA board member, said: “We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition from ESCA. This award is more than a win for our team. It’s a sign that the industry is ready for smarter, more connected, and more accountable event experiences.”

He added: “ESCA has always championed forward-thinking companies. We built MatchPoint to give organisers and exhibitors real tools to measure the value of human connection.”

While networking is often cited as the top reason people attend events, it is one of the hardest experiences to quantify. MatchPoint’s platform bridges this gap by capturing networking data in real time.

The award marks a milestone for Lebwohl, who completed a three-year term on the ESCA board this year. “Serving on the board has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career,” he said. “This community of professionals is passionate, collaborative, and committed to evolving our industry. I’m proud to have contributed, and I’m even more excited for what the future holds for ESCA.”
