Business Design Centre (BDC), London exhibition venue, has revealed “longstanding team member” Max Bull has moved into a new role as CCO. His previous role was executive director of venue sales.
Bull, who said he is “delighted” to start his new role, steps into the position having been at the BDC since 2000. Over the years he has climbed through the ranks and joined the board in 2013.
With the departure of CEO Dominic Jones, Bull now acts as the lead position at the London venue. According to the BDC, Bull’s responsibilities will now entail both commercial and operational activities.
Bull said: “I have deep respect for the work that’s been done over many decades in bringing us this far and am excited to build on the strong foundation with our fantastic team. I look forward to working more closely alongside our wider executive body in this next phase, in both strengthening our culture and delivering continued value to our clients, employees, and stakeholders.”
Jeremy Rees, CEO at Excel London, added: “Max has been a cornerstone of the BDC for many years, and his appointment as Chief Commercial Officer marks a natural and well-deserved progression. His deep understanding of the business, combined with his leadership and dedication, make him the ideal person to take the organisation forward.”
