The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that Rob May, executive chairman of ramsac, will deliver the opening session of its annual conference at Excel London on Friday 14 November 2025.
May, an author and adviser on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and business leadership, works with leadership teams on how to apply emerging technologies in safe and practical ways.
The conference, now in its ninth year, will be held under the theme Accelerate. Shaping the future of event venues. Sessions will address protect duty, generational workforce dynamics and the application of retail approaches to event venues.
Rachel Parker, CEO of AEV, said: “Rob is known for his straightforward delivery and fast-paced and practical sessions, which perfectly complements the theme of this year’s conference ‘Accelerate. Shaping the future of event venues.’”
