RX Global UK managing director Kerry Prince and Manchester Central CEO Lori Hoinkes will explore the impact and opportunities for trade shows to deliver more growth for the UK economy as part of The Business of Events’ Global Policy Forum agenda, published today.
The Global Policy Forum, sponsored by RX Global, will take place at IET Venues Savoy Place on 1 April. It will be moderated by seasoned news anchor, reporter and broadcaster, Trish Lynch.
Designed to unlock the potential and drive growth within the UK’s business events economy, the programme’s other speakers include Shaun Davies MP chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events; Dame Caroline Dinenage DBE MP chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee; and columnist and politician Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE who will be giving delegates his view on the current political and economic landscape.
Senthil Gopinath, CEO of ICCA will discuss the opportunities that business events bring to the UK economy and Neil Brownlee, newly elected chair of PCMA and head of business events at VisitScotland, will speak on a policy-focussed approach to business events.
Meanwhile, Mickael Benaim, head of research at SFA Connect, will highlight how destinations are adapting to the changing economic and political landscape before the closing keynote address is delivered by Dame Caroline Dinenage DBE MP, Member of Parliament for Gosport and chair of the Culture Media and Sports Select Committee.
