Cvent has completed its fourth acquisition of 2024 by buying the event marketing technology platform, Splash.
The US-based Splash delivers event websites and email marketing templates. It recently launched an AI-powered tool that predicts attendance and boasts 500 customers, including over 60 Fortune 100 companies.
Cvent CEO Reggie Aggarwal (pictured) said the acquisition of Splash “reflects Cvent’s commitment to extending best-in-class event technology beyond centralised events teams and into the field with easy-to-use tools that increase engagement and drive pipeline.”
The Splash deal follows Cvent’s June purchase of Reposite, an AI-powered sourcing platform. In January, Cvent bought trade show-focused companies Jifflenow and iCapture.
Prior to Cvent’s acquisition, Splash raised $39.5m in funding over seven rounds. Former Splash CEO, Eric Holmen left the company in January and was replaced by interim CEO, Matthew Curry.
