The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) awarded IMEX Group CEO, Carina Bauer its Outstanding Contribution accolade during its Excellence Awards on Friday (14th June).

The AEO Council chose Bauer (pictured) for her ‘exceptional leadership and commitment to values-driven business practices’.

Bauer is a past chair of the AEO Council (2021-2023) and the EIA (2021-2022), and past president of the SITE Foundation (2020). She has also previously served on the board of the MPI UK Chapter and global committees for MPI and PCMA.

The AEO Excellence Awards took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane and was hosted by comedian Dara Ó Briain. 

The awards recognised  outstanding achievements in the following categories:

Marketing Campaign of the Year – UK Trade Show: Connected Britain 2023 – Terrapinn
