Dore knows the score

Patrick Dore has recently returned to Creative Technology’s London team in a project manager role.

Dore spent the early part of his career at Creative Technology, starting in the warehouse preparing video systems and then progressing on to do site work, eventually becoming a senior video engineer. He then made a very successful move into project management where he continued to gather great respect in the industry as a capable and passionate individual.

He commented: “It is a huge honour to re-join CT London. I feel very fortunate to once again be able to work with the hugely talented team of people here. CT has always been known for delivering some of the biggest and most exciting shows in the industry and I am very proud to be part of that again.”

Mark Elliott, Managing Director of Creative Technology UK, commented: “It’s really fantastic to see Pat return to CT, he’s a great addition to what is already a formidable team.”

Board to run

Head of PR & marketing at drp, Ryan Curtis-Johnson, has joined the board of Meeting Needs. Having worked in the industry for 10 years, Curtis-Johnson joins Harriet Bullen of First and Karen Small of BDRC.

Curtis-Johnson commented: “Meeting Needs has always been a charity I’ve supported and had a personal interest in. So, I wanted to be part of the team and do something that makes a change, for good.

“I’m excited to get stuck in and help to promote Meeting Needs, what it stands for and how relevant it is in the increasingly difficult world so many people live in. Meeting Needs has achieved some incredible milestones through the years, not least reaching over £1,000,000 raised so far. I look forward to being part of its future.”

Chair of Meeting Needs, Jennifer Jenkins, added: “We are delighted that Ryan and the other recent additions to the Board have stepped up to join the Meeting Needs team. Their drive, individual skills and industry knowledge will further strengthen our Boards outlook, but more importantly they bring a new dynamic and focus to the Board that is more representative than ever of the people that work in our industry.
