The Victory Services Club (VSC) has announced the launch of its new VSC110 campaign, celebrating 110 years as a London event venue.
With a strong focus on service, the campaign will deliver a number of educational initiatives and online content that will take a closer look at the concept of service and what the future might look like for events.
A series of initiatives will be launched throughout the coming months as the anniversary year progresses, kick starting the campaign with a roundtable discussion, where the venue will invite event professionals to explore service of the past; looking at how old-fashioned values will influence the future of events and the benefits of reviving the personal touch.
Other initiatives planned throughout the year include a survey looking at what is important to customers when it comes to service, a service promise focusing on the venue’s three core values of value, service and courtesy, followed by an end of year celebratory dinner event for clients and members to mark the venue’s anniversary.
Air Commodore Nigel Beet CBE, CEO of the VSC, commented: “It is a monumental milestone to be able to celebrate our 110th anniversary and it only felt appropriate to really celebrate this achievement.
“We pride ourselves on delivering first-class service and with the future of events ever changing we wanted to combine these two elements to create a number of educational events and content that our members, clients and event professionals can take part in.
“It is going to be an exciting and memorable year for us and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate in such spectacular fashion.”
