Manchester’s first hybrid conference and exhibition, UVM EXPO 2020, has announced that event planner Liz Taylor will be opening the event with a welcome address.
Taylor is the CEO of Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), with clients including entertainment and business leaders, luxury brands and even royalty. Taylor is also a public speaker, media commentator, music manager, and hospitality brand marketing consultant.
Taylor said: “I am passionate about Manchester. It is a unique city that is rich in diversity, creativity, energy and unique venues. From small, independent boutique hotels to exceptional convention facilities, theatres, industrial spaces and more. The choice for event planners is first-class, and only matched by the warmth of welcome that the region offers.
“Of course, the impact of Covid-19 has been wide-spread and devastating, not just on Manchester but the entire industry. Spear-heading the charge to bring our industry to political and economic attention has been Conference News editor, Martin Fullard. His insightful and inspiring coverage of the pandemic and its impacts has provided a reliable source of information and guidance for the industry. And I am thrilled to have to opportunity to welcome Martin, and event delegates, to this very special event.”
Oragnised by Unique Venues of Manchester and partners, UVM EXPO 2020 will be a hybrid events showcase which aims to attract MICE professionals from the city region, around the UK and beyond.
The event’s programme includes both virtual and live speaker sessions, presentations and panel discussions. Other live and virtual speakers include Conference News editor Martin Fullard, head of events for VisitBritain Kerrin Macphie, and founder of Concerto Group, Mike Kershaw.
Hosted by virtual event provider, Swapcard, UVM EXPO 2020 will be taking place on 1 October. To register for the event, click here.
