Celtic Football Club has announced the launch of a new consumer football event, which will take up 20,000sqm at the SEC in Glasgow on 26-28 July.
The club promises that ‘from the moment fans enter the Celtic FC Festival, they will be entering into the wonderful world of Celtic’.
The event will feature football activities, such as free-kick, penalty-kick and crossbar challenges, along with other elements such as head tennis and football darts. The self-described ‘world’s biggest Celtic superstore’ will also have the new season 2019/20 kits and host the official and exclusive launch of the new third kit. In addition, fans will be entertained by on-going fashion shows, showcasing all the new kits, training gear and more.
Celtic player Callum McGregor said: “Our fans are everything to us and we are sure this Festival in July will be something they will really enjoy. It will be a unique experience and a chance for us all to celebrate all that is great about the club.”
The event is being staged by the club in conjunction with event specialist PSP Media Group, whose director Tom Lovering commented: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Celtic FC to stage such a wonderful club experience of this kind on their behalf.
“As one of the UK’s foremost event companies, and based in Glasgow, we are perfectly placed to deliver what should be an unforgettable three days. We are looking forward to working with the team from Celtic to bring this unique event to life.”
