Northern heights

Arora Group, owner of many hotels including The InterContinental London O2, Crowne Plaza Heathrow Terminal 4, and Hilton London Gatwick, has announced the appointment of Sanjay Arora as group strategy director.

Sanjay joins from within the group, having previously held the position of director, overseeing all new acquisitions and hotel developments for the group.

In his new role, Sanjay will focus on setting the vision and wider strategic initiatives for the group, driving communication throughout the business alongside founder and chairman Surinder Arora, and CFO Carlton Brown.

 

On a platter

Street Feast, the name behind London’s night market and street food arenas, has announced the appointment of Josh Williams to head of content and marketing.

In the newly created role, Josh will lead Street Feast’s content strategy and drive brand awareness across the business’ five venues – Dinerama, Model Market, Giant Robot, Hawker House and seasonal pop-up Winterville.

Williams joins the team from Shortlist Media, where he spent three years as editor of Mr Hyde, sourcing and curating daily content for its 100,000 subscribers.

 

Pure talent

Pure Events has announced that Joanna Stachowicz has been appointed as client services director.

Company bosses say Stachowicz has been a valued member of the Pure Events team for seven years after starting as an events assistant shadowing senior members of the team.

Since then Stachowicz has worked her way up the ladder to events manager and then senior events manager and now finally Stachowicz has earned her place at the director’s table.

 

Lighting the way

Event production specialists Light Fantastic Production Services have announced four new members to the team at their Borehamwood offices.

Working across a number of different areas, the addition of Gareth Shippen, Angela DiTomaso, Leo Neilson and Svetoslav ‘Slavi’ Nikolov strengthens the range of creative production and technical support services provided by the company.

 

200 IQ plays

Ingenuity London today announces the appointment of Rachel Langton as head of connect, to drive forward the agency’s new Connect Events, launching in September 2019 across Europe and the US.

Covering creative, tech and media, the Connect events will provide brands with the opportunity to meet agency talent across these core areas of the digital landscape.

 

Bossed in translation

Remote simultaneous interpreting platform Interprefy has appointed Richard Roocroft as senior sales manager.

The strategic appointment comes as Interprefy experiences strong demand for its language interpreting platform, and follows the opening of a satellite office in Tokyo in 2018. Richard will be traveling regularly across APAC.
