The Scottish Event Campus has announced the appointment of Debbie McWilliams to director of live entertainment at the SEC, Glasgow.
McWIlliams will be responsible for the overall management, commercial delivery, event booking and content creation of Scotland’s biggest entertainment complex, which includes The SSE Hydro.
2020 vision
Binswood Media, the organiser of ITT Hub 2020, has announced a number of key personnel appointments for the transport innovation & technology show.
Nick Fielding joins as event director, with Mel Holley also appointed to manage content and media relations. Both Nick and Mel will report to CEO Mark Griffin.

Events marketing platform RainFocus has announced the appointment of Kevin O’Rourke as executive vice president of global sales.
O’Rourke, who brings with him an established background in the events industry, will drive the sales strategy behind the company’s go-to-market plan as well as expansion into new markets.

Ingenuity London has announced the appointment of Rachel Langton as head of Connect, to drive forward the agency’s new Connect Events, launching in September 2019 across Europe and the US.
Langton brings a wealth of experience, having previously worked across the Richmond Events marketing portfolio for over 7 years as head of business development for The Marketing Forum and The Digital Marketing Forum.
Thinking outside the Box
Experiential marketing agency George P. Johnson (GPJ) has announced the appointment of Matt Box to the role of senior strategist.
Box will be reporting to VP chief strategy officer Jonathan McCallum. His appointment is intended to bolster the strategy department’s capabilities in line with GPJ’s creative and growth ambitions for 2019.

UK event and conference venue, Telford International Centre, has announced the strengthening of its sales team with two new appointments.
Rosalind Godfrey has taken up the position of senior sales manager, while Jenny O’Sullivan has assumed the role of sales manager.
Ronnie Murray has joined London-based events company Camm & Hooper as group executive head chef.
Ronnie, who previously spent seven years as group head chef of HIX Restaurants, will create new menus for all six of Camm & Hooper’s London venues whilst heading up a team of 20 chefs.
