Event tech entrepreneur Bart van Bijnen has acquired a ten per cent stake in Explori, the leading provider of event research and benchmarking. Van Bijnen is a successful event tech leader, best known for his work at the registration platform, N200, which he sold to GES in 2014.

Van Bijnen (pictured) commented: “I believe that customer experience and satisfaction plays an important role in the future of the exhibitions industry. Explori is the only tool that uses benchmarking and comparison. This allows the tool to predict how events will perform in the future. They have a really great vision for the tool which leads me to believe the future of Explori is very bright.”

Van Bijnen joins the board and senior management team in an advisory capacity with immediate effect.

Explori’s founder and CEO Mark Brewster commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Bart to the business. I’ve admired his achievements in the industry and he’s a perfect fit for Explori. The investment will help us accelerate product development and the expansion of the business.”
