Last Thursday 23 January, and it’s literally taken three days to recover, was SEC’s notorious Burns Supper held at London’s Banqueting House.
Over 170 event organisers celebrated Scotland’s bard under the spectacular Rubens’ ceiling, enjoying a few drams of Glengoyne whisky and a ceilidh, hosted by Bahookie. Rumour has it some guests didn’t make it to bed until 3/4am.
EN editor Saul Leese said: “What a great night! It was my first Burns Supper and I doubt it’ll be my last. It had all the right ingredients (If you like haggis), great food, flowing alcohol, dancing and great company.”
