Organiser i2i Events has revealed a move to larger halls at The NEC in 2014 for its RWM show, following the success of its recent 2013 event.
More than 13,000 (pending audit) visitors attended the source efficiency and waste management trade show on 10-12 September in Birmingham. The organiser claimed there were 750 exhibitors spanning the new exhibitor trail zones as well as its strongest conference programme to date, offering more than 150 expert speakers over five theatres.
The show’s move into larger halls from 2014 has been confirmed by i2i Events, to meet increased demand and to support growth. The event moves into halls four and five from next year and takes place on September 16-18, 2014, along with partner environment shows, The Energy Event, The Renewables Event and The Water Event.
“RWM has again been incredibly well received,” said portfolio director for environment events at i2i Events Group, Dan Thurlow.
“Based on the show’s growth, we are changing location within The NEC next year, with RWM moving into a large space that is more appropriate to an event of this size. The event is moving into the NEC’s largest exhibition space, halls 4 and 5 to meet the growing demand for space at RWM,” he added.
Co-located show The Energy Event, was supported by new additions, The Renewables Event and The Water Event, totalling a combined visitor number of 6,172 visitors (audit pending). Last year, The Energy Event attracted an ABC-audited total of 6,030 visitors.
The Energy Event featured keynote presentations from the UK’s energy leaders, including Edward Davey MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
Last year, RWM in association with CIWM attracted 17,797 (ABC audited).
