Starting today, 7 September, the NEC Birmingham will play host to Mack-Brooks Exhibitions’ Railtex, 15th International Exhibition of Railway Equipment, Systems and Services, and Infrarail, 13th International Railway Infrastructure Exhibition.
Until Thursday 9 September, a total of 220 exhibitors from 12 countries will present a variety of the latest railway equipment.
It is the first time key players of the infrastructure and rolling stock sectors have met meet face-to-face to network and exchange in a professional environment since the beginning of the pandemic.
Mack-Brooks Exhibitions has announced the decision to co-locate the exhibitions once again in 2022.
Olaf Freier, Railtex/Infrarail portfolio director, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, said: “We are so delighted to meet face-to-face with the market at last, after eighteen long months without an event of this stature, and we will continue to go above and beyond to ensure we deliver an event that is both safe but also hugely valuable and energising for our participants. It’s been a long road, but we have made it – we thank our partners and loyal exhibitors for their support over the last few months.”
On the decision to co-locate the exhibitions again next year, Freier said: “This 2021 edition marks the start of our journey and is the first stop on the road to recovery for the UK rail market. Next stop: Olympia London from 10 – 12 May 2022. We invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to fortify and grow their organisation.”
