Organiser of the Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show has reported its highest visitor number in five years at Harrogate International Centre (HIC Yorkshire) this month.
More than 10,000 visitors attended the show, alongside 250 exhibitors and experts, covering everything from planning laws and regulations to designing and building a home, on 4-6 November.
Nick Noble, events director at organiser Centaur Home Interest, said: “We had a fantastic show in Harrogate.
“Our official attendance figure was 10,188 visitors, which is our busiest Harrogate show since 2010.”
HIC Yorkshire director, Simon Kent said: “The increase in people coming to the Homebuilding & Renovating Show is great news for the event itself and for HIC Yorkshire.
“We are seeing more and more high-profile public shows coming to Harrogate, especially in the run-up to Christmas.
“The great turnout for the Homebuilding Show will hopefully be repeated at Knitting & Stitching later this month and two new shows coming in December – Foodies Festival Christmas and Gin Festival Harrogate.”
