It is another busy week for ExCeL London with nine events taking place including the Discover Dogs consumer show on 20-21 November.
The venue also has a new addition to its dock edge this week in the form of a 56 metre, 499 tonne Lloyds class vessel (pictured).
Other events at ExCeL this week include landscaping show FutureScape which is exhibiting for the first time at the venue on 16-17; The B2B Marketing Expo (16-17); Sales Innovation Expo (16-17); The Customer & User Experience Expo (16-17) and Brand Licensing Europe (17-19).
The venue said it received positive feedback from the first in-person edition of the Future Surgery show on 9-10 November, co-produced with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Along with 96 exhibitors, the event brought together 150 speakers and experts as part of a CPD accredited programme.
In other news, the venue’s parent company ADNEC has pledged for net zero carbon emissions by 2050 on the back on COP26. The plans include dentifying and prioritising actions to reduce emissions such as energy management, water conservation, materials management, food and beverage waste reduction.
ExCeL has recently been shortlisted for two awards: AEO – Best Lockdown Initiative, which will be announced on 10 December, and ESSA Awards 2021 – Venue of the Year Finalists, announced on 2 December.
This Sunday is the 21st anniversary of the venue’s first show, Automotex, which coincidentally takes place on 21 November.
