London Ski & Snowboard Festival 2022 is cancelled

Smart Group has made the “difficult decision” to cancel this year’s London Ski & Snowboard Festival, which was set to take place in October at Evolution London.

Smart Group told EN that the decision was made due to the company working on Oceandiva London – a new carbon-neutral vessel set to host events on the River Thames, which requires its full team working on the project.

The company is set to announce a new partner which will take on the organisation of London Ski & Snowboard Festival in 2023.

Next year’s event will be Smart Group’s first edition, having taken over the running from the Telegraph group. The show is still set to go ahead at Evolution London, with dates yet to be confirmed.

A Smart Group representative said: “We deeply regret not being able to deliver the London Ski & Snowboard Festival this year as planned. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are now preparing for a major venue launch and in order to continue executing at a high standard we require our full team to bring the project to life. We are thrilled another partner is as excited as we were to begin working on the London Ski & Snowboard Festival 2023.”
