The London Dessert Festival is set to come to the Truman Brewery on 17-18 August with an experiential celebration of all things dessert.
The event will be divided into three main areas – a Frozen Dessert Zone, a Chocolate Zone and a Cake & Pastry Zone – and will include interactive features such as a sprinkle-filled pool, candyfloss clouds, a canopy of clear umbrellas filled with classic penny-sweet favourites and a wall of Instagram light boxes – mini photobooths ready with Insta-friendly backgrounds.
The festival has teamed up with culinary institute Le Cordon Bleu London and will also see demonstrations from some of London’s top dessert aficionados, including master chocolatier Paul A. Young and Nicolas Rouzaud, executive pastry chef at The Connaught Hotel.
Visitors will be able to sample desserts from a range of London bakeries, cake-makers and kitchens.
