Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) has announced that it will throw its weight behind Kent Construction Expo 2019 – showcasing Maidstone as the Business Capital of Kent, and highlighting opportunities for developers, investors and businesses across the borough.
MBC is sponsoring the Networking Breakfast of the Construction Expo which is being held on Thursday, 3 October at the Detling Showground, Maidstone. Organisers claim that the event, which has been running in Kent for ten years, is the largest gathering of construction industry professionals, contractors and suppliers in the south east and is recognised as a leading B2B event that brings together top-level real estate professionals and investors to build partnerships, gain industry insight and discover outstanding projects.
William Cornall, Maidstone Borough Council director of regeneration and place who will be presenting at the event said: “MBC is delighted to be attending, supporting and speaking at the Kent Construction Expo this year. We pride ourselves on being a pro-business local authority which is committed to supporting numerous developments that will provide high-quality office, warehouse and commercial space to serve the borough’s growing economy.
“MBC is bringing forward plans to transform Maidstone into a truly 21 Century county town and commercial hub. There are plenty of opportunities for developers, investors and businesses to contribute to, and benefit from, the borough’s development and the innovative businesses that we are growing and attracting.”
