Lyrical Communications has announced that its InstallerSHOW will move to the NEC Birmingham next year from 21-23 June with new features and enhancements.
The installer event has been held at Coventry Building Society Arena (formerly Ricoh Arena) since its launch six years ago and is attended by professionals in heating, plumbing, commercial engineering, renewable energy and electricity.
Organisers said the main reasons for the venue change are greater accessibility via road, rail and air and the scope to grow the show and increase visitors numbers.
Event director Michael Costain said: “Moving to the UK’s largest exhibition venue will allow us to grow and develop the event into a world-class exhibition attracting stakeholders from across our industry – both commercial and domestic.
“To begin to achieve this, InstallerSHOW will move to the NEC in Birmingham next year. We see this move as the beginning of something very exciting for our industry and for the future of InstallerSHOW.
“The integrity of InstallerSHOW will remain intact as it moves across to the NEC, but the overall look of the show will expand as we welcome more manufacturers and more installers to the event.”
Lyrical managing director Eoin McManus said: “We are firmly committed to the continued success and growth of the InstallerSHOW exhibition as well as aligning it with other stakeholders within our industry, particularly in the commercial and industrial sector.”
“This exciting move to the NEC will help us realise our ambitions and enable us to develop a world-class event for our exhibitors and visitors.”
This year’s event will take place at Coventry Building Society Arena from 28-30 September.
