The Heritage Motor Centre (HMC) has announced the launch of its first Toy & Collectors Fair, to be held on 24 November in Warwickshire.
Home to the ‘world’s largest historic collection of British cars’ the HMC will feature more than 150 exhibitors showcasing a range of collectables including teddy bears, dolls and car, bus, plane and train models.
Collectables on sale will include big brand names such as Corgi, Dinky, Matchbox, Spot-On Diecast, Scalextric and Steam Toys.
“We are delighted to be hosting our first Toy & Collectors Fair which I’m sure will be incredibly popular with collectors of all ages,” said show manager Tom Caren. “With free parking, discounted entry to the museum and a huge selection of toys and models for sale, the Toy Fair promises to be a great day out.”
The organiser will also provide discounted entry to the Heritage Motor Museum during the event, enabling visitors to view the motor collection, including Land Rover No1, Morris Minor No1, the first and last Mini, the Thunderbirds Fab1 car and the Jaguar 2000 Formula 1 car.
Earlier this year, heritage funding was announced for several exhibition venues.
