Forum Events and Media Group has created its own software platform where buyers can meet suppliers through video conferencing as well as webinars.
Group MD, Sarah Beall, explained that they company has invested in the new platform to ensure that they can continue to deliver events while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place. She said: “During this unprecedented time, we have chosen to redirect our focus from live events to virtual so that we can still deliver expectations to our supporting exhibitors and create a platform to meet with high calibre decision makers face-to-face.
“We cannot wait to welcome attendees back to our live events from September and have implemented a COVID-19 safe risk assessment at all our venues, ensuring the two-meter rule throughout, introducing temperature check and reduced numbers, but still creating the same professional and informal atmosphere of buyers and suppliers.”
“We are prepared and ready to kickstart our Forums from this month across four industries via our virtual platform. And we will continue to serve industries’ supply and demand by holding hybrid live and virtual events that are COVID-safe throughout the coming months.”
The company specialises in face to face meetings with selected buyers able to meet suppliers on stands at various forums and summits.
The first four virtual meeting events are Total Security Summit – 29 June, Security IT Summit – 30 June, eTailing Summit – 6 July and Digital Marketing Solutions Summit – 16 July.
Forum Events and Media Group is also working alongside the UK events industry to promote the #GetBritainMeeting initiative aimed at kickstarting the events sector in a safe and sustainable way.
