Fast Forward 15 announces partnership with Cvent

by Olivia Powell

Fast Forward 15 (FF15), the mentoring scheme for women in the travel, events and hospitality industry, has announced a partnership agreement with Cvent for its 2021 programme.

The new partnership comes alongside the announcement of the line up of mentees for the programme.

Felicia Asiedu, senior European marketing manager at Cvent, said: “We have partnered with Fast Forward 15 because we believe in helping to shape what this industry looks like, from the technology to the teams.  The events industry has changed dramatically and with the developments, even more skills are now required.

“We are passionate about helping women become confident leaders, event specialists and tech-savvy virtual events champions. The mentoring will ensure that these women can be respected in their career, create new entrepreneurs, high-performers and well balanced team players. As a mentor, I am excited to play an active role in this years’ programme.”

Fay Sharpe, Founder of Fast Forward 15, added: “I’m extremely proud that so many successful people in our industry want to play an active role in our programme. This indicates the relevancy of Fast Forward 15 for our industry. It’s therefore that I announce all mentors for 2021 with great pride. They are essential to the success of FF15.

“Our aim is to support our industry and help women at whatever stage of their career, whether furloughed, redundant, thriving, pivoting, creating a side hustle or setting up their own business.”
