European Sign Expo, the dedicated signage event co-located with this year’s FESPA exhibition has released details of a free education programme for users and designers of visual communication and digital signage installations.
Topics at the Excel show, running from 25 to 27 June, include social media convergence, design, content and considerations for end-users, retailers, resellers, as well as sign-makers looking to adopt digital-out-of-home (DOOH) technology.
The European Sign Expo educational programme will be delivered through two conference theatres on the exhibition floor.
In the Screenmedia Theatre, the Digital Sign Design sessions will look at examples of successful content development, with speakers such as BSkyB producer Hugh Westbrook, who will consider the issue of re-purposing content originally produced for other platforms (such as television) as well as location considerations.
Earlier this year, European Sign Expo bought Screenmedia Expo and will wholly integrate it within its June event.
