Entries are now open for the second edition of the EN Indy Awards, an awards launched by Exhibition News to celebrate the UK’s smaller, independent exhibition organising companies. The deadline for entries is Friday 16 August.
The awards are a chance to celebrate the companies running stellar events with a fraction of the manpower and budget of the big players in the exhibition industry, allowing them to compete alongside their peers in categories such as Best Launch, Best Trade Show, Best Consumer Show and Indy Organiser Team of the Year.
The EN Indys are open to organising companies with a turnover of less than £7.5m, or to companies for whom exhibitions contribute less than £7.5m per annum.
The awards event is supported by sponsors The NEC, BeMatrix, Circdata and Priority Exhibitions, and will be held for the second time at the Honourable Artillery Company in London on 11 October.
EN editor Nicola Macdonald commented: “We’re excited to be bringing back the EN Indy Awards for a second year after a fantastic launch at the HAC in 2018. The feedback from our launch event has been really encouraging – it’s clear that these awards are tapping into a part of the industry that rarely has a chance to shout about what it does and we’re thrilled to be providing that platform.”
