EN 30 Under 30 2019 launch event

by Nicola Macdonald

The EN 30 Under 30 2019 launch event kicked off at Bounce, Old Street yesterday evening (19 June), bringing together the winning 30 to begin a year of industry activities.

EN editor Nicola Macdonald kicked off the event, outlining the many ways that the 30 Under 30 can get involved in the exhibition industry through contributing to the magazine, attending networking events, speaking at events such as International Confex and taking part in EN-branded events such as the EN Roundtables and EN Race Day.

Mehram Sumnay-Roots, founder of YADA Event Technology and member of the EN 30 Under 30 2018, then took to the stage to talk about her experiences from the previous year, and how being in the 30 Under 30 had helped her develop professionally and stand out from the crowd.

Rikki Bhachu, marketing director at MA Exhibitions and member of the EN 30 Under 30 2019, commented: ““It’s great to be a part of the EN 30 Under 30 and share an evening with so many creative, innovative and talented individuals. We are event organisers and peers, meeting to discuss how we can grow and shape an industry we feel so passionately about, now and in the future.”
